7. Rubber Cement Glue

8. Play-Doh rolled into the size of a little ball of cookie dough before it’s cooked.

How to make your very own Toy Soldier:

1.Load the white cardstock into your printer paper drawer.

2. Look for “Adam’s Toy Soldier” PDF in the list of Things You’ll Need.     Click the blue scallop circle next to it to download your Toy Soldier

3. Print the Toy Soldier Download onto the cardstock.

Now that you have your toy soldier print out-it’s time to start to assemble him! *Moms and dads might want to put wax paper down to avoid any sticky surfaces later.

4. Take your toy soldier printout and scissors, and cut the soldier carefully along the edges.

5. Take your popsicle stick and put some rubber cement glue on the top one side of your popsicle stick.

6. Take your soldier left leg and press it on the sticky top of your popsicle stick. Hold for 30 seconds.     *This popsicle stick is a way to hold and move your puppet!

7. If you want your soldier to stand up without holding the popsicle stick, take a little bit of your Play-Doh and roll it in to a ball.

8. Smush one side of the Play-Doh softly and place it on a flat surface.

9. Take the end of the popsicle stick and poke it in to the top of the Play-Doh. That’s your soldier base!

Fun Challenge:Write a little puppet show. You can print out a few soldiers to be characters in your puppet show.
